The Interaction Designer role for the business team at Ather involves spearheading the UX across all interactions that we have with our customers, partners and the internal team in both the online and offline realms. There will be a lot of experimentation, brainstorming and concept proofs to come up with solutions to problems that have never existed. We love to work with designers who live for this thrill.
We firmly believe that the right way to build a skill set in the team is to build top down. We are looking for a seasoned UX professional with experience in designing and leading the creation of delightful experiences in any domain that resonates with the millennial generation. Being a motorhead or a tech enthusiast would definitely help.
You will be the primary designer for all customer and internal interfaces of the business team - Website, Experience Center, Business Tools, Charging Infrastructure, Service, Logistics etc.
You will also need to build and manage the UI/UX team to match the workload and steer the evolution of our interfaces on a regular basis
We are reinventing the space, which means you need to ideate, innovate and design solutions to problems that haven’t been known till now and create experiences for these from scratch
Collaborate with business to understand the processes, workflows, and requirements for all the systems.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Proven UX and Visual design experience across Web and Mobile
Experience as a head or the lead of a UX/interaction design team
Strong portfolio of B2C projects (preferably for tech-oriented companies)
Strong communication design skills projected through Websites/Marketing Pages for clients
Solid experience in creating high fidelity assets, storyboards, and sitemaps
Proficiency in design and wireframing tools
Good understanding of frontend tech stack to ensure feasibility of designs
Degree in design from Tier 1 Design schools would be preferred but is not a mandate.
