No non-negotiable tool requirement. Knowledge of one or more engineering/design/analysis software will be desirable
What will I be doing at Ather?
Building the S340 and the ecosystem around it gives us joy. Infact it’s the joy of building things that keeps us up on it. No matter the number of days and even nights. Interestingly over the last three years we have come across lot of folks who share the same excitement. Young engineers who want to build an electric bike, guys working on solar charging, wireless charging, drones, robots and so on.
From our experience and these interactions we have realized that it’s critical to have a robust eco-system for such projects to nurture and become great products. Unfortunately, we don’t see any taking shape.
As the community chief you will help in establishing such a platform in whatever ways we can. If you are someone who we are looking for, you already have a hang of it. Either ways we will be happy to discuss this in detail when we speak.
What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?
That’s a good question. Interestingly for this role we are overweighing on passion and your capabilities over relevant experience, which for this role is quite non-existent. Your obsession to build hardware products is non-negotiable. Some product development experience will be welcome.
You have either graduated recently and have participated in FSAE, Baja and the sorts. Or you could have sacrificed 2-8 years in an engineering firm with the hope of building products and now looking for a chance to get out of loop of mundane tasks. Alternatively you are running/ have run maker communities in the country.
You have your ears on the ground on the latest tech, hardware developments tools, prototyping. Quora, Reddit and the likes are your adda. You have clear ideas on better online tools to bring together like-minded folks together.
While your resume would really help, what we would love to see is this community through your eyes. Pitch your ideas and let’s talk.
What should I have graduated in?
B.E/M.E in any engineering stream
